Owners Of Ikea’s Symfonisk Speakers Can Now Jazz Them Up With New Colors

Ikea’s Symfonisk speakers are now more colorful than ever after the company started offering new blue or red fronts for its $99 bookshelf speaker. The $179 Symfonisk lamp speaker now gets washable fabric sleeves as well.

On top of the new colorful look, the Tradfri Gateway is on offer for just $22 in the UK or €24.95 in the Netherlands.

The gateway is needed by those who want to take advantage of Ikea’s smart blinds, lights, and speakers. With the gateway in use people can then use scenes and timers as well as digital assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant.

Unfortunately, the Ikea gateway will still cost buyers in the United States a full $35, although it’s possible a similar deal will come Stateside.

The move to offer new color options for the speakers means people now have more options to try and make sure that they better fit in with their decor. They were previously only available in white and black, somewhat limiting their use.

The new covers for the lampshade will cost €10, with the bookshelf covers costing €8.
