How To Order iPhone 8 / 8 Plus Using iPhone Upgrade Program

Here’s how to order your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus using Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program and the App Store app the easy way.

If you are wanting to get involved in the iPhone 8 hype, but are part of Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program which lets you split the cost of a SIM-free device over 20 monthly payments, then you may actually be wondering how you go about registering your interest in iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus. It can be confusing, so we are here to make it simpler and give you everything that you need to know.

For those who don’t know, Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program, in the markets it’s available in, has been a great success for those who have already taken the opportunity to get involved in it. Rather than having to give Apple a huge lump sum of cash upfront for brand new iPhone ownership, the program allows consumers to split the cost of a device across 20 monthly payments with 0% interest. That’s good enough, but it also affords users with the ability to continually upgrade to new hardware every year as long as they are happy to always be paying a monthly fee to Apple. Read the steps below to find out how you can use the iPhone Upgrade Program and the Apple Store app to get your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus now that they are available to pre-order from Apple.

NOTE: This process is actually intended for those who already have the iPhone Upgrade Program in place.

Step 1: For this to be as streamlined as possible, you are going to need to have the Apple Store app installed on your device. If you already have it, wonderful, if not, then you can download it directly from the App Store.

Step 2: Launch the Apple Store app and select the huge iPhone 8 image to head into details about that device. At the top of that screen, you will see a paragraph of text which tells you about the iPhone Upgrade Program, along with a button which reads “Find out now.” Tap on it to continue.

Step 3: You will be presented with a new interface which is basically there to take a few details about you and your existing device. Because this is already signed in to your Apple ID, and because it’s an app running on the device, this information is already pre-populated. Check it for accuracy and then select Submit.

And that is literally all that you need to do in order to inform Apple of your intent to get iPhone 8 or 8 Plus immediately through your existing iPhone Upgrade Program membership.
