Leaker Claims The iPhone 12 Lineup Will Start At 64GB, iPhone 12 Pro At 128GB

Apple is set to announce the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro lineup within weeks and now we might have confirmation of what the base storage options will be, too. According to leaker Jon Prosser, iPhone 12 models will begin at 64GB while the iPhone 12 Pro handsets will bump that up to 128GB.

Prosser says that shipments of the iPhone 12 models – including the iPhone 12 mini – will begin on October 5, with storage options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. In terms of the iPhone 12 Pro, he simply said that the storage will start at 128GB.

Apple is set to launch two iPhone 12 and two iPhone 12 Pro models, with the smallest being a newly-named 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini. Beyond that, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and a massive 6.7-inch iPhone Pro will make up the lineup.

It’s important to note that Prosser’s track record isn’t 100% accurate, though. He has been pretty spot on in terms of iPhone rumors however, so make of that what you will.

Apple would normally have announced all of these new models by now, but the coronavirus pandemic has pushed everything back a few weeks.

The current expectation is that a new online special event will take place on October 13, with pre-orders beginning on October 16. If that’s correct, we expect the 2020 iPhones to go on sale the following week – Friday, October 23.
