iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro Launch Dates Leaked, New Apple Watch And iPad Coming As Well

Unlike most years where we can pretty confidently say that we know roughly when Apple will announce its new iPhones, 2020 has been a bit of a rollercoaster.

The coronavirus pandemic has caused chaos with Apple’s usual design and prototyping program and the company has already said that it will miss its usual September window by a few weeks.

Now, leaker Jon Prosser claims to have the full rundown of what will be released, and when. And it’s bad news for anyone wanting an iPhone 12 Pro.

According to Prosser, Apple will release the Apple Watch Series 6 and a new iPad via press release during week commencing September 7. After that, an iPhone 12 event will happen during week commencing October 12 with iPhone 12 handsets shipping week commencing October 19. But what about iPhone 12 Pro?

According to Prosser, the two iPhone 12 Pro handsets won’t be ready to go until some point in November, although he doesn’t seem to know which week.

Typically, Prosser also noted that these dates are subject to change which is another way of hedging your bets when making these kinds of claims.

Apple has launched iPhones at staggered points before, notably with iPhone XR and iPhone XS, not to mention iPhone X and iPhone 8. We’ve been expecting something similar in 2020, but a wait until November is a concern for those looking to grab a new iPhone 12 Pro this year.
