Out of nowhere, Apple dropped iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1 as a minor update for iPhone and iPad users.

The update can be considered a minor, but an important one, given it fixes some critical issues within iOS and iPadOS. According to the official changelog by Apple, iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1 includes following changes.

iOS 13.6.1 includes bug fixes for your iPhone.

– Addresses an issue where unneeded system data files might not be automatically deleted when available storage is low
– Fixes a thermal management issue that caused some displays to exhibit a green tint
– Fixes an issue where Exposure Notifications could be disabled for some users

As always, there are two ways to grab iOS 13.6.1/iPadOS 13.6.1. The first is to head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and grabbing the OTA update from there. Second is to download the IPSW using links given below and then update using iTunes/Finder method.
