Here’s What A Cybertruck-Based SUV From Tesla Could Look Like

The Cybertruck is still quite some time away from hitting the roads, but the unreleased pickup truck has some designers thinking of an evolution of sorts; could Tesla’s first electric truck make an exciting SUV?

With companies like Rivian already adapting their R1T pickup truck to create the R1S SUV, and the fact that Tesla’s Model X itself is a compact SUV, a Cybertruck-based SUV could be on the cards.

As reported by Electrek, Scott Stewart from SAAW has given us some renders of what that SUV could look like, and it sure has us excited.

According to the renders, we could possibly have a third row, but compared to the exorbitant $115,000 you have to pay for the Model X, Electrek notes that given the bed of the Cybertruck, this third row could be offered at a much lower cost. For humor’s sake let’s throw in the Model Y’s third row into the contention as well, but we all know it’s not very practical.

While these are just renders in response to an idea that a Tesla SUV is incoming, there’s not much else we can speculate on it at the moment.

What we know for sure is that with the Cybertruck still not out the factory gate for the public, and SUV – if built on the Cybertruck chassis – won’t be coming out till at least late 2024 or 2025.
