Electra iOS 11.1.2 Jailbreak Final Version With Cydia Gets Release Date Time Frame

Looks like we may finally, finally have Electra iOS 11.1.2 jailbreak final version with Cydia release date time frame from the developer himself.

After we told you yesterday about CoolStar’s comeback to both Twitter and active jailbreak development, today he has publicly given more details about the upcoming final version of Electra.

First up, CoolStar claims that this jailbreak for 64-bit iOS 11.0-11.1.2 devices will be the most stable 64-bit jailbreak since iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak by Pangu.

Will be the most stable 64 bit jailbreak* since iOS 9.3.3 😀
*Not for anyone who installed bootlegged or illegitimate copies of Electra RC 1.x

Secondly, provided there is no further “drama” or roadblocks, CoolStar expects the final version of Electra to be ready by next week.

Hopefully if we don’t get sidetracked again, we could very well be seeing the final Electra release next week 🙂

Now that definitely is good news given that a fully stable iOS 11 jailbreak with Cydia has been coming for a very long time. Ian Beer’s exploit for iOS 11.0-11.1.2 has seen multiple jailbreak tools coming from different developers but none of them have included Cydia and that is because Cydia has not been updated by Saurik with iOS 11 compatibility. While Saurik has gone completely silent on the progress of Cydia after confirming he was working on it couple of months ago, CoolStar has stepped up and now it looks like he is very close to making his iOS 11 jailbreak with Cydia public. When released, this will be the first jailbreak for iOS 11 which will come with Cydia support out-of-the-box.

We will of course let you know as soon as final version of Electra is released to public. Stay tuned!
