DuetCam For iOS 13 Brings Dual-Camera Video Recording To iPhone 11 / Pro / Max, XS / XS Max, XR

When Apple announced the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max last month, it showed off their ability to record from multiple cameras at once.

The included Camera app can’t do it, however, so it’s down to third-party apps to make their own arrangements, and DuetCam is one such app.

Available in the App Store right now and costing $2.99, this is the cheapest way to get such a feature. Its a well designed app that integrates with the Photo Library, too.

Users can record video from any of the rear cameras plus the front-facing camera simultaneously. And interestingly, this is possible with iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, too.

This app requires the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max or the iPhone 11 Max Pro to be able to use two cameras at the same time.

This app features:

1) recording with two cameras, the front-facing camera and any back-facing camera your device offers
2) videos are saved directly to your library, similar as to the stock camera app
3) browse your videos within the app
4) play videos and share them without leaving the app
5) share your videos as an IG story directly from the app

If you’re someone who sees themselves as an Instagram fiend this could be a great way of recording what’s happening in front of the camera while also allowing viewers to see your face at the same time. And at just $2.99, it’s a bargain.
