Drone Video Shows Deserted Apple Park During Coronavirus Lockdown

Apple is doing its part to try and help contain coronavirus by telling its workers to work from home wherever possible. As a result of that, Apple Park is currently empty, with only a skeleton crew working there right now. And this new drone video shows just how eerie the whole thing is.

The drone video was taken by Duncan Sinfield, the person who also got us similar videos of Apple Park during its construction. It takes in the main Apple Park facility as well as the Steve Jobs Theater and all surrounding areas. And it’s all pretty much completely empty.

There’s a shelter-in-place order in Santa Clara Country, too, which is surely making everything even quieter than it would normally be. It’s unlikely that Apple Park has been this quiet since the day the doors first opened. And it’s not clear right now how long we should expect things to remain this way, either.

Apple also has all of its Apple Stores closed worldwide, bar those operating in the Greater China area. All of those are currently open after having spent their own time closed.

It isn’t clear when we can expect Apple Stores to open worldwide, either. Coronavirus shows no sign of being under control right now, so don’t expect to be walking into an Apple Store anytime soon.
