When you use a USB-C to Lightning cable to charge your iPhone you can expect to be able to charge it considerably more quickly than using the standard Lightning cable and power adapter that came in the box. Charging to around 50% battery capacity in 30 minutes isn’t unheard of and it’s a great way to top up an iPhone before heading out the door.

The cable itself is capable of high-speed data transfer of up to 470Mbps and RAVPower says that it’s rated for as many as 30,000 bends before it will even consider starting to show any signs of wear and tear. That’s way more than Apple’s cables seem to be capable of withstanding, right?
