Download: watchOS 6.2.6, tvOS 13.4.6, And HomePod 13.4.6 Updates Released By Apple

Apple today has just released watchOS 6.2.6, tvOS 13.4.6, and HomePod 13.4.5 updates for compatible devices to download.

Apple Watch owners can now download watchOS 6.2.6 via the usual methods. This update is said to include nothing more than security updates, with Apple’s release notes not going any further than to say that it should be installed onto all compatible devices.

As always, updating to watchOS 6.2.6 will require a very specific jump through hoops including having an Apple Watch within range of an iPhone, for it to be on charge, and already have at least 50% battery charged.

If those requirements are met you can open the Watch app on your iPhone and then select “General” followed by “Software Update”.

Alongside watchOS Apple has also released tvOS 13.4.6, again just a week after the last update was also made available to everyone running the fourth and fifth generation Apple TV.

The new update can be downloaded via the Settings app on the Apple TV. Select “System” followed by “Software Update” to kick things into gear. Apple rarely goes into detail about these Apple TV updates and they rarely include big changes. It’s likely this update is all about security fixes and improvements as well.

Last but not the least, we have the HomePod 13.4.6 update, which as the release notes state improve stability and performance. Nothing specific has been detailed as always.

Apple has also released iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS updates in the same vein today. As ever we’d suggest downloading the latest updates as soon as possible.
