Top Camera Is A Powerful HDR and Slow Shutter App For iPhone

Ben Reid·December 3, 2012
With so many camera apps purporting to offer a fulfilling, professional-esque point-and-shoot experience to consumers, it can be fairly hard to keep up. In order to help budding photo aficionados in the bamboozling minefield that often is shopping for a camera app, the folk at Lucky Clan have scraped "features found in numerous camera apps," lumped a couple of their own unique features on top, and developed a surprisingly solid iOS app in Top Camera.

Tunebooth iOS Music Player Brings Gesture-Based Simplicity And Aesthetic Beauty To Your iPhone

Ben Reid·December 3, 2012
The iOS Music app (or iPod app, if you're running on an older firmware version) is a very basic amenity, and although it does exactly what it says on the tin in playing music, it's not the most exciting experience in the world. Tunebooth Music Player by mART is everything your native player isn't, and if you like apps based on gestures, customizable layouts and dynamic theming options, it sounds as though Tunebooth is the app you've been waiting for.

Facebook Photo Syncing Now Available To All iOS And Android Users, Here’s How To Enable It

Paul Morris·December 1, 2012
Although Facebook currently holds the title as the world's largest social network with over one billion active monthly members, it doesn't mean that success is guaranteed. The face of companies such as Facebook and Twitter are constantly evolving to meet the demands of their user base, so it stands to reason that Facebook will be continuously trying to innovate and add new technologies and services to their social experience, one of which is the Photo Syncing feature we reported on last week. Although Photo Syncing was initially in a private beta stage with a select few iOS users, Facebook have now rolled the service out on a large scale to all compatible iOS and Android devices using the official Facebook app.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City For iOS And Android Gets A Trailer Ahead Of Launch [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·December 1, 2012
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is almost ready to make its tenth anniversary appearance on mobile devices, and in anticipation for the launch on December 6th, Rockstar has released a teaser video. By the looks of things, the game will look and run like the classic version on console, and since the release of GTA III to the small screen went down a treat, we'd expect the controls to have been adapted in a similar way for optimal gaming performance.

Atari’s Pong World For iOS Released To Mark 40th Anniversary Of Original Game

Paul Morris·November 30, 2012
To celebrate a little bit of worldwide gaming history and to mark the 40th anniversary of the famous Pong game, Atari has taken the opportunity to release the first official Pong game onto the iOS App Store for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

KitCam For iPhone Snaps Onto The Scene With Powerful Photography Features And Live Effects, Filters

Paul Morris·November 30, 2012
Anyone visiting the Photos & Video category on the iOS App Store will be more than likely be aware that Apple's app marketplace is packed full of third-party camera and video apps that have been put before the public for purchase and download. Some of the offerings are fantastic and bring a whole new dimension to capturing pictures with an iOS device, while others are simply awful and don't really offer anything more than the stock Camera app in iOS. The new KitCam app from GhostBird Software definitely falls under the bracket of being a must-have for iPhone and iPod touch owning photography fans.

Remote App For iOS Updated To v3, Features A Revamped UI For iPad, Up Next And More

Paul Morris·November 30, 2012
Apple is carving themselves a name recently as the company who delivers hardware and software to consumers in bunches rather than releasing things in dribs and drabs, which is something that has been evident with the recent iPhone and iPod releases as well as the two new iPads and new range of Macs. It should be common knowledge by now that the eagerly anticipated iTunes 11 has officially been released to the public and Apple have continued the multiple release trend by pushing up version 3.0 of their extremely popular Remote iOS app that lives on the App Store.

Fantastical Re-Imagines Calendar On The iPhone

Paul Morris·November 29, 2012
We live in a fast-paced, technologically advanced world at the moment and unfortunately for us - or fortunately depending on how you look at things - we always have some task to complete or some chore to run. A large number of people employ the services of productivity based applications that they run on their mobile device to make sure they keep to their commitments and deadlines and others like me just have a list of things to do and when it's done it's done. Thankfully, calendars are generally something that we can all beat our drums to and they don't really come any better than Fantastical creation by Flexibits.

‘Real Boxing’ App Is As REAL As Boxing Gets On Your iOS Device

Ben Reid·November 29, 2012
Every now and then, a new title comes along that breaks boundaries, offering gamers something they've perhaps seen before, but not at such a polished level. Real Boxing from Vivid Games is one such title, and whether you're a big boxing fan, or just looking for an exciting, competitive, and challenging title, this game ticks all the boxes with aplomb.

500px Finally Brings Its Coveted App To The Small Screen Of The iPhone

Ben Reid·November 29, 2012
Last year, the release of 500px took the iPad world by storm. Prior to its release, there had been a distinct lack of photography apps suited to the Cupertino tablet, with devs preferring to cater to the iPhone. But 500px reminded us that a well-polished app for iPad can wind up being just as much of a hit with iOS users, and so it has proved. Now, the app popularized by the iPad has been wonderfully reworked for the iPhone, and is now ready and waiting for you at the App Store.
