If you had mentioned the possibility of having standard access to the ability to print three-dimensional solid objects from a digital image a few years ago, then most people would have turned their noses up and say that it would never be possible unless the user had a shed load of cash to invest in the process. In some aspects, that has actually proven to be true, with 3D printing being available but not exactly the cheapest thing in the world. Fortunately, thanks to processes being introduced that remove much of the hassle behind designing prints, the whole process is becoming cheaper and more accessible.
Preceded by leaks, rumors, and reports, Apple’s upcoming event is the most anticipated mobile technology-related media event of the year. It’s where the company is expected to announce multiple new products, both hardware and software-based. If we told you that Apple was planning on launching a service that allows users to search for, select and then stream music across multiple iOS and OS X devices, then it probably shouldn’t come as a great surprise. After all, Apple pretty much pioneered the shift in music and paved the way for digital downloads and the like, so the surprise would be that it has taken them this long to adopt the strategy and actually come up with a service similar to that offered by the likes of Pandora and Spotify.

Ever since the critical success of the Nexus 7, and the reasonably good commercial success of the Kindle Fire (both $199 Android powered tablets), Apple has been strongly rumored to be preparing their contestant for the small, economical tablet. Just about every Redmond Pie reader has now heard of the iPad Mini. It’s rumored to be a 7.85” tall tablet that has the specs of an iPad 2, and that it will be announced and launched in October for the price of $249.
If you ask a random individual to mention a cloud storage provider then I imagine an everyday person would only be able to pluck a handful of names out of their minds, with Dropbox probably being the most popular. Regardless of whether you love or hate the Dropbox service, it is by far one of the easiest to get up and running with and integrates extremely well with desktop and mobile operating systems.
