We just informed you about the official confirmation of iPhone 4.0 by Apple and look what has just popped up over at Engadget. They have been tipped by a developer from PixelCUBE Studios – a firm which holds the number one spot in iTunes list of free app, who has spotted not one or two, but three difference versions of iPhone OS 4.x running on different iDevices: iPhone 4.1, 4.0.1 and 4.0.

Wow! that was quick! MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team has just posted a tweet which confirms that iPad has been jailbroken in less than 24 hours of release. This according to him has been achieved through a cross-team effort with Chronic Dev Team, comex and chpwn.
The official Kindle app for iPad has now arrived on the iTunes App Store, and with it brings over 450,000 books, magazines and newspapers from the Kindle platform over to the iPhone, iPod touch and now the iPad. This new version of Kindle app is specially optimized for the larger high resolution display of the iPad to make sure everything looks crisp and sharp, in a beautiful, easy-to-use interface.
The two new Android phone – HTC Desire and HTC Legend have been rooted for full file system access on Android 2.1. Paul at Modaco forums has confirmed to have got full su (root) access on the said devices, and is currently going through final release mechanics before he makes it public for everyone to use.
iTunes 9.1, which was released a few hours ago caused syncing issues for many users (specially on Windows), who were jailbroken on iPhone 3.1.2 (tethered) using blackra1n. But now thanks to ih8sn0w, this issue can now be fixed by using BlackBreeze.
As expected, Apple has just announced the availability of iTunes 9.1 for both Windows and Mac. This new version of iTunes brings support for the upcoming iPad on iPhone 3.2, a new “Books” section which replaces the existing “Audiobooks” section in the iTunes Store and improvements to Genius Mixes feature.
John Gruber of Daring Fireball has added his thoughts on the “Verizon iPhone” report which was published by WSJ earlier today. According to him, the next-generation iPhone will feature an iPad like 940 x 640 resolution display, an A4 CPU chip (again like iPad) and a front facing camera for video conferencing. Apple has just released the final version of iPhone OS 3.2, along with SDK for iPad. This final version of iPhone OS 3.2 and SDK for iPad has been released only a few days before the first batch of iPad pre-orders ships this coming weekend on April 3rd. The last Beta 5 was released on March 18th, and Beta 4 was released earlier this same month. This is an iPad only release.

Wow! this is big! We all knew this was going to happen at some point, but not as soon as this. Apparently, some Russian folks have managed to port a “real” working ROM of Windows Phone 7 on the most popular Windows Mobile device – the HTC HD2. Tom Codon of HTCPedia has posted screenshots which shows off the device running an early build of Windows Phone OS 7.0.
