There has been a lot of talk recently about the specifications of the new iPhone that is expected to be announced during a media event next month. Although we haven’t had any official confirmation from Apple as of yet, those who appear to be in the know are staying true to the September 12th announcement date. We are obviously all keen to officially feast our eyes on the sixth-generation device, but the most talked about and contested amendment to the device has to be the inclusion of a taller display.

How To Enable AirPlay Mirroring On Restricted Apps On iPhone And iPad

Paul Morris·August 10, 2012
It always manages to delight us when large companies and corporations release their applications onto devices like the iPhone and iPad which allow us to watch digital content such as movies and TV shows by streaming it through their app onto our devices. That's all well and good and presents itself as perfect situation in most cases, but what if we want to take advantages of AirPlay and want to wirelessly send that content to our high definition televisions? Not in this life. Certain providers believe that shouldn't be allowed and have removed this feature from their software.

Next iPhone’s Internal Components Compared Against The iPhone 4, 4S [IMAGES]

Paul Morris·August 10, 2012
With the release of the next-generation iPhone just around the corner, we could be forgiven for thinking we already have a pretty accurate idea of what Apple is going to introduce to the world next month. Over the last few months, we have been treated to regular viewings of leaked images of individual components, as well as a few documents that claim to show the new iPhone assembled in all of its beautiful glory. Of course, the fully assembled images could all be part of an elaborate ruse to throw us off the scent, or may even just be a shell prototype that is distributed to official equipment manufacturers to design and build their wares, but they have succeeded in making us anticipate the release.

As I'm sitting here writing this with my iPhone 4S sitting by my side, it's hard to get my head around the fact that in approximately four weeks time we will be welcoming the sixth-generation iPhone into the world. As somebody who has owned every iPhone since the original one which came out in 2007, it really doesn't seem like it has been over five years since Apple introduced their first smartphone that would ultimately end up revolutionizing an entire industry and make way for the introduction of another game changer, the iPad.

If you are sitting in the office right considering switching jobs, and you happen to have marketing experience that involves leading development of brand positioning, can demonstrate strength and passion for managing large virtual teams and have eight years of experience, then it is quite possible that Microsoft could be looking for you to help bulk up their marketing department in time for busy eighteen months. It shouldn't really come as a shock that Microsoft is looking for staff, but it's the actual content of the job posting that resonates with us and leaves us a little bit excited for the future.

How To Sync Your iPhone’s Clipboard Data With iPad, Windows PC, And Other Devices

Paul Morris·August 9, 2012
Although we have seen a few packages and enhancements for jailbroken iOS devices that allow users to copy information to the clipboard and then manipulate it in some shape or form, we haven't actually seen something that goes above and beyond the basic functionality and offers the end-user some additional power clipboard management features. Copying information to the memory of the device is a highly underrated feature and something that I'm sure a lot of people would like to see more attention given to.

There's no doubt about the fact that we are all pretty excited about what Apple is about to bring to the table, but the anticipation and waiting game that is associated with a Cupertino based release always manages to get our inquisitive minds ticking over. The clock is ticking on the countdown until September 12th, but just what should we expect from the new iPhone?

Paul Morris·August 8, 2012
We are pretty sure that we will see an Apple media event being held in September, part of which will be dedicated to introducing the world to some new hardware. As things stand at the moment, it looks nailed on that Tim Cook and his colleagues will take to the stage to announce and show off the next-generation iPhone in all its glory, but apart from that, the jury is still out on whether or not they will use the same forum to tell us about a couple of new iPods we are expecting, as well as the baby iPad, commonly dubbed as the iPad Mini.
