It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Apple does a lot of business through a lot of different sales channels. Consumers who prefer to shop from the comfort of their own home can easily purchase Apple hardware and software directly through the company's official online store. Those who prefer to interact with bricks and mortar don't usually have to stray very far to find themselves purchasing goods in one of Apple's physical retail outlets. In addition to those options, Apple also has a vast array of official resellers who are always happy to shift their goods. But if there was a competition for which physical store could shift the most iPhones then who do we think would win?

Apple's decision to revamp and revitalize the rather disheveled iChat app was undoubtedly a decision that was needed to be made, but the execution of that decision has left more than a lot to be desired. OS X users have been more than happy to let Apple know that the Messages app on their platform isn't up to scratch, but while we wait for the Cupertino overlords to do something about it let's take a look at a new Messages concept that totally overhauls the app with the aim of actually appealing to those who use the service.
Google has taken the earliest possible opportunity to give some good news to existing Nexus tablet owners. In an official post on the Android Google+ page the company has announced that the latest and greatest release of the Android operating system will be be coming to the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. In preparation for the worldwide launch of the PlayStation 4 Sony has officially released a mobile companion app for iOS and Android devices. The multi-platform offering is Sony's way of allowing gamers to take the PlayStation experience with them wherever they are, meaning that they can always be connected to the PlayStation Network from their mobile device. The company's existing Vita handheld will obviously be a vital tool for gamers who are looking to go mobile but it seems that this official PlayStation app will hugely appeal to those who haven't invested in the PS Vita.
Apple has shown an increased desire over the last 12 months to highlight the fact that a lot more of their design and manufacturing processes is taking place in the United States. Being able to install multiple operating systems on a desktop computer is something we just assume as standard. The service that allows users to synchronize files without the use of Dropbox or other cloud based storage alternatives has just announced that it has hit a milestone that must have initially seemed out of reach.
