The world may be waiting for September 20th before it can get its collective hands on Apple's new flagship phone, but the folks at Burberry are getting early access to the iPhone 5s, with the clothing and accessory maker set to use the new handset for a fashion show on September 16th.

Oliver Haslam has written about technology for over a decade. His work has been published in print at Macworld and online pretty much everywhere else. If it plugs in or has a battery, it's fair game.
Is that iPad just not working out for you? Is the lack of Microsoft Office just eating you up inside, leaving you unable to continue making those spreadsheets that nobody really reads? If the answer is 'yes,' then fret not, for Microsoft now has you covered.
When Apple announced its iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c devices at its big event a couple of days ago, the Cupertino firm also confirmed that it would be making the 5c variant available for pre-order on the 13th of September - a week before it goes on sale alongside the 5c. What Apple did not tell us though, was just when on the 13th the iPhone 5c would be available for pre-order. Now, if information from Verizon and other U.S. carrier partners is to be believed, we have that information.
At this point we've all watched the Apple iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c announcement event from yesterday, but some of it is just worth watching again. High on that list would have to be the Infinity Blade III trailer that we saw Epic Games’ Donald Mustard and his brother playing through on-stage. We got a good idea of what Apple is allowing game makers to do with the iPhone 5s during that demo, and now you can watch the whole trailer online, sans all the Apple stuff either side of it.
We're big fans of the Iron Man series of films here at Redmond Pie, and we're going to go out on a limb and guess that you probably are, too. The movies always do extremely well at the Box Office, and home format sales tend to be pretty great too. That's why Marvel said they were launching a JARVIS-inspired iOS app not long ago along with the launch of Iron Man 3 movie on iTunes, and that app is now live on the App Store.
Well that didn't take long. Just hours after Apple announced the new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, some of its competition is already beginning to launch the first attacks aimed to poke fun at the devices.
There's nothing worse than having your expensive iPhone or iPad break except possibly having it break because you've done something to it. Whether you've dropped your iPad and broken the screen or managed to take your iPhone for a swim, accidental damage is often something that follows people around, and can prove to be an expensive mistake.
Today may well go down as the day that we saw Apple announce two new iPhones during the same press event, but it's also the day that some of its often forgotten products also received a minor facelift. And by minor, we mean they got a new color.
OK, it's been a pretty big day for Sony already, what with the announcement of the newly announced PS Vita 2013, but the Japanese firm isn't done there. Also announced today, the PS Vita TV is much more than it may first seem, and it's going to cost around $100 to buy, too.
With its PlayStation 4 due for release in a couple of months, Sony could be forgiven for being a little preoccupied. In fact, we'd even forgive the Japanese firm from almost forgetting all about its portable games console, at least in the short term. At a press conference today though, Sony showed that it's not just well aware of its portable machine, but is also working to make it as popular as possible.
