Hitherto, the landing page has simply displayed a KitKat themed page, but now, the competition is very much up and running. Apple TV To Get Software Update On September 10th, Here Are The Details

Ben Reid·September 7, 2013
Apple TV, once described by Tim Cook as a "hobby" to the Cupertino company, hasn't seen a great deal of change in its lifespan, but with quite a few services having been added recently including the likes of VEVO, Disney Channel and others, and with iTunes Radio already confirmed for it, it's certainly as rich in available content as it ever has been. With a big event confirmed for September 10th, some had hoped that Apple would be bringing some new hardware in its gradual growth push in the TV market, but it now seems certain that this will not be the case. There will, however, be a handsome software update, with a couple of interesting features. Details after the break!

Nexus 5 Render Based On Recent Video Leak Makes Us Want One Right Now! [IMAGES]

Ben Reid·September 7, 2013
The hype surrounding the Google Nexus 5 is pretty immense right now, and after a recently-leaked images, Redit user Vovicon has upped a bunch of rather beautiful renderings. Maintaining a similar look to the Nexus 4 - a device manufactured by LG as the next one will be - it brings a slicker general aesthetic than its would-be predecessor, and although we'll need to wait for the device's official unveiling before we get too excited, the renderings are definitely worth checking out after the break.

Check Out This Hilarious iPhone 5S Announcement Parody [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·September 7, 2013
Apple's iPhone announcements tend to follow a very specific script, and with September 10th the confirmed date for the official unveiling of the two new handsets in store, we're likely to see the familiar sequence of events. Tim Cook will make the announcement, before Phil Schiller and others begin reeling off a bunch of reasons why the newer model "changes everything, again." To mark the occasion, a new parody video is doing the rounds, and pokes a little fun at the Cupertino company for its archetypal ways. Check it out after the break!

This iOS Game Lets You Play The Role Of A Hacker

Ben Reid·September 6, 2013
Hacking, as we've seen on many occasions, can be used for good as well as evil, or at least unscrupulous ends, but a new game for iOS by the name of 868-HACK plays down the wider issues by letting you have fun and essentially become a computer geek yourself. Of course, since it's made purely for entertainment, there's nothing amiss (although one suspects some App Store browsers may be initially off-put), and once you get into it, there's much fun to be had.

In terms of driving games, there are a few noteworthy offerings including the Real Racing trilogy, and joining the race for supremacy is 2K DRIVE, a new iOS exclusive that has just debuted at the App Store.

Microsoft: Xbox 360 Has Three Years Of Life Left

Ben Reid·September 5, 2013
With the Xbox One almost upon us, it's easy to forget that its predecessor, the Xbox 360, still has a fairly important role to play in the gaming world. With several key releases upcoming, including Grand Theft Auto 5, consumers will continue to purchase the console in their thousands. With that said, support for the older machine will eventually begin to dwindle as the Xbox One takes a stronghold, and Microsoft has just suggested that Xbox 360 support could cease in 2016.

Apple’s September 10th iPhone 5S And iPhone 5C Event Is Now Official

Ben Reid·September 3, 2013
Reports coming in from reputable sources in the past week or so all-but confirmed September 10th as the announcement date of the budget iPhone 5C and flagship iPhone 5S, but now, any notion of that doubt can be swept aside with Apple having just pushed out the invitations to the event for that very date. Both devices are expected to be showcased by Cook, Schiller and the rest of the usual suspects, and with exactly a week to go, we're very much looking forward to the official unveiling.

Named the Liquid S2, the device is set to be fully unveiled at this year's IFA trade show in Berlin, but with 4K video recording and a Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm, we're already pretty excited about it.
