Apple has now added the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air to its self-service repair program. People in a raft of countries can now get parts and tools for repairing their broken iPhones at home.
MacRumors reports that the self-service repair store in the United States, Canada, and some European countries, such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland, and others, are now online.

Apple is allowing customers to rent the tools requires to repair the new iPhones for seven days, with pricing set at $49. The parts will vary in price depending on what is requires to repair an individual iPhone.
Apple launched its self-service repair store in 2022 and has been expanding it to new countries and devices ever since. It can sometimes take a little while for new devices to be added to the program.
In this instance, the new iPhones have been on sale for a little over a month. For those who want to have Apple repair their broken devices instead, the AppleCare+ program is a much better alternative.

AppleCare+ sees Apple repair broken devices itself, with device owners paying a set fee that is always considerable smaller than the price that would normally apply. AppleCare+ can be taken out as a monthly or lump-sum insurance depending on the device in question.
