Apple’s New “Snap” Ad Shows AirPods Pro Off In An All-New (Neon) Light

Apple today released a new ad for its AirPods Pro earbuds, and it’s one that hearkens back to the popular iPad ads of yesteryear. While the ad shows off Transparency mode and Active Noise Cancellation, it’s the music and the actor involved that really steal the show.

The whole ad features a woman as she makes her way through a busy city, listening to music on her AirPods Pro. The song in question is “The Difference” by Flume feat. Toro y Moi, with the actor dancing as she enables the AirPods Pro’s noise cancellation. The entire world changes to a bright, neon affair as well.

But when she enables Transparency mode and hears all of the hustle and bustle around her, things slow down and we’re back to the boring grays and beiges of most cities.

The whole ad is absolutely brilliant and well worth taking the time to watch. It also does a good job of showing exactly what makes Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode so awesome, as well as two great examples of when the two features come in handy.

We’re big fans of AirPods Pro and while stocks are short worldwide, we’d definitely suggest picking a pair up if you can stomach the $249 asking price. Sure they aren’t cheap, but with all of this tech built in, it’s fairly easy to see why that is.
