Apple’s New Mac Pro Can Cost Up To $52,600 When Maxed Out With The Wheels Alone Costing $400

After months and months of waiting, the new Mac Pro is finally here, and it’s just as costly as we’d have expected. While it starts at $5,999, which is already a hefty price tag, things really start to ramp up when you add options.

Those options are plentiful, too. Processor upgrades, more RAM, increased storage capacity and add-on cards soon make the price skyrocket. In fact, if you really go all-out, you can make this thing cost a whopping $52,599.

For that, you’re going to get a 2.5GHz 28-core Xeon W processor, 1.5TB of RAM, and a 4TB SSD. Two Radeon Pro Vega II Duo cards handle graphics with an Apple Afterburner Card included, too. Oh, and you can’t forget some wheels. They cost almost $400 on their own. For wheels!

Customize your Mac Pro to have a stainless steel frame with wheels, which is ideal for moving your Mac Pro quickly and easily without having to lift it. Configuring your Mac Pro with wheels makes it about an inch taller than the frame with feet.

Of course, the kinds of people – or more likely, companies – who are picking this kind of machine up won’t be too concerned about the price. The money’s already budgeted and it’ll be offset by work for clients. But holy moly, look at that price!

If you’ve ordered a Mac Pro today, we’d love to hear from you. What will it be used for, and what specification did you order? Hit us up in the comments and let us know.
