Apple’s Latest 2018 Mac mini Hits An All-Time Low Price Of Just $699 For A Limited Time

Right now Amazon is offering the Mac mini in base configuration for just $699. That’s a very decent saving over the normal $800 asking price and it is one that is very difficult to ignore.

The Mac mini is Apple’s most affordable Mac and with its 2018 refresh it gained lots of great new improvements.

This might be the base model, but it has a lot of boxes ticked for those who need a Mac to run quietly and without too much effort, too. Headless servers, for example, could definitely be well served by a Mac mini.

The model on offer comes in the sexy Space Gray color that all of Apple’s pro-oriented machines do, making it one of the best looking mini computers around. Inside you’ll find a 6-core i5 8th-generation Intel Core processor alongside 8GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM. The super-fast SSD will move data around nice and quickly, as will the four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, two USB 3 ports, and single Ethernet port.

The Mac mini comes with macOS Mojave installed and will be compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina when it ships in the next few weeks, too.

We love the Mac mini and the chance of saving some money on one is pretty great. The downside? Stock is limited and new Mac minis aren’t expected to ship until early September. Still, that’s a price worth paying in order to save $100, right?
