Apple’s iPhone 12 Lineup Details And Other Hardware Announcements Leaked Ahead Of Next Week’s Event

We’re expecting Apple to announce four new iPhones next week after months of speculation. But we don’t have to actually wait until the event to get hold of the info after a Weibo post by leaker “Kang”.

According to Kang, all four iPhones will be announced next week – but we won’t be getting them all just yet.

While the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be ready next week, it’s going to be next month before the iPhone 12 mini and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro will be ready to go.

Here’s how it’s all going to go down based on what Kang has to say – including pricing and colors, not to mention camera specifications.

Here goes.

On top of all that. all iPhones will support 5G but only those sold in the United States will get their hands on the fancy mmWave 5G, apparently. There will also reportedly be a Smart Data Mode that will switch between 4G and 5G to try and save power when the faster speeds aren’t needed.

Other leaks include claim of the return of MagSafe, this time in some form of magnetic charging for iPhones. All of the new iPhones will reportedly gain a new Ceramic Shield coating to make them less prone to scratching.

Finally, we’re told that the HomePod mini will launch at just $99. There is no mention of AirPods Studio or AirTags, suggesting they won’t make next week’s event.
