Apple Reportedly Also Sounding Out Mercedes-Benz As An Apple Car Partner

There’s been a lot of talk of late relating to the unannounced but oft-rumored Apple Car and today is no different. While Apple has been heavily rumored to have Hyundai lined up as a partner for the project, a new report claims that things might be kicked up a notch with the inclusion of luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz.

According to an IT News report, First Finance Network was told that Apple and Mercedes-Benz are in discussion, but that no decision has been made as to whether a partnership will be formed.

Today, according to a report by First Finance Network, an auto industry insider revealed to the First Finance Reporter that Apple is not only talking to Hyundai to find an auto manufacturer. At first, it also found Mercedes-Benz Daimler. Now it has not made a final decision. Before the final announcement of the news, the outside world’s voice was just speculation. But Apple’s suppliers must cooperate specially and aim to create a good product.

Hyundai’s recent confirmation that it is indeed talking to Apple also mentioned that other carmakers were being consulted, so it should be no surprise that that’s exactly what is happening. However, Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz traditionally operate at two very different ends of the market – could we be seeing Apple Car Sport and Apple Car Edition?

Jokes aside, which would you rather? An Apple Car built by Mercedes-Benz, or one put together by Hyundai? Either way, it’ll be running Apple’s software.
