Apple MagSafe Duo Wireless Charger Now Available To Order

Apple has finally begun selling the MagSafe Duo Charger that it announced alongside the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro lineups, with the product available for order from the Apple Store at $129.

The charger is capable of powering an iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max via MagSafe as well as an Apple Watch at the same time, hence the MagSafe Duo name.

It isn’t what anyone would call cheap at $129 and it doesn’t come with a wall charger in the box – keep that in mind when you’re placing your order.

The MagSafe Duo Charger conveniently charges your compatible iPhone, Apple Watch, Wireless Charging Case for AirPods, and other Qi-certified devices. Just place your devices on the charger and a steady, efficient charge begins on contact. The charger folds together neatly so you can easily take it with you wherever you go.

Anyone ordering a MagSafe Duo Charger now will see it arrive within the next couple of days, although there doesn’t appear to be any stock available in Apple Stores just yet. That could well change over the next day or so, however.

While the MagSafe Duo Charger does feature MagSafe, it can also be used to charge standard Qi-compatible devices including older iPhones, AirPods, and even Android phones. Although it’s worth noting that the speed at which non-MagSafe devices charge will be slower than those that use Apple’s new magnetic charger.
