Apple Is Rumored To Have Products “Ready To Ship”, But What?

While Apple was rumored to be getting ready to launch new hardware during WWDC, that never happened. Still, we know that new Macs of some sort are going to come before the end of the year after Apple said that it would ship machines with its own silicon before 2020 came to a close.

Now, reliable leaker and anonymous Twitter user, @L0vetodream, has shared a teasing message – something’s are “ready to ship”.

Of course, we’ve no idea what that might actually turn out to be. A new iMac with a redesigned chassis and screen was rumored for last month but that didn’t materialize. That could be the first machine with Apple silicon, but Apple did also say that there would be more Intel Macs, soon.

As for non-Mac hardware, there’s the obvious iPhone refreshes coming in the next couple of months, but that’s unlikely to be what this tweet is referencing. Instead, it’s possible we will finally get to see what AirTags will have to offer.

AirTags are said to be Apple’s Tile-like trackers and they were originally expected to launch in September of 2019 alongside the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. Again, that never happened. So what gives?

Other possibilities include Apple-branded headphones as well as a new Apple TV and perhaps a larger iPad mini. As ever, it’s also possible this leak isn’t anything at all. For now, we wait and see!
