You can now get iOS 14 beta 3 download and release date & time expectation for iPhone and iPad devices. Here are the details.

Apple’s iOS 14 beta program is now not only running for developers but for those who are part of the public beta program, too. The company released beta two just last week, Tuesday, July 7. So when will we likely see the next beta arrive?

If Apple is going to follow the standard release cadence that we’ve become accustomed to for big beta releases like this we think we know.

Apple tends to release new betas every two weeks and after the initial beta arrived on Monday, June 22 we saw the second beta come two weeks later. With all that in mind it’s very likely that we can expect iOS 14 beta 3 to arrive a week from today – July 21.

That’s when the developer beta will arrive, at least. Apple likes to hold the public beta release back at least 24 hours to ensure there are no glaring problems before putting in front of normal users. While they are of course people who signed up for the public beta, having their iPhones and iPads simply refuse to work isn’t a good look.

Beta 3 will need to be confirmed good before the public beta gets it – likely on July 22.

What that beta will bring is anyone’s guess, of course. We’ve seen slight changes with the arrival of beta 2 already, so it’s possible it will be a similar story next time out. Now we just need to wait for the next week to tick by!
