2nd-Gen Echo Plus With Alexa Drops To $99 Ahead Of Christmas [You Save $50]

Amazon continues to heavily promote its first-party hardware and as part of that it’s currently offering the new Echo Plus for just $99.99. Normally, this speaker would sell for around $150.

What’s more, you even get to choose which color speaker you receive. So if Sandstone isn’t your thing, there is also Heather Gray and Charcoal on offer, too.

The Echo Plus is Amazon’s larger speaker that takes what makes the Echo line so popular and adds a little more sound capability to the mix. You’ll get the option to personalize your listening experience by adjusting the equalizer settings, and you can even pair it with a second speaker if you want to be able to enjoy stereo audio, too.

Of course, this being an Echo device it has Alexa built in. That brings with it all the same awesomeness you’d expect including being able to control your smart home equipment as well as take advantage of the many, many Alexa skills that are available.

If you’re concerned about the privacy aspect of having a microphone in your home, the Echo Plus comes with a button that will electronically disconnect tine built-in microphones.

We don’t know how long Amazon will keep this speaker available at this price, but so far stocks appear to be solid. If you order now you’ll receive your speaker before Christmas, too.
