where the hell is the full-on jailbreak for the iPhone 4?? I could careless about unlocking it. I have a number of apps on cydia and iphone rocker that I've paid for and can't even use until I can unlock my iphone 4.

I really do not understand why they are waiting to release this. apple is going to prevent this in 4.0.2 or 4.1 versions anyway. people like myself need these unlocks/jailbreak to use the phone part of iphone. if geohot can jailbreak his iphone why cant they just show us how they did it? it would be nice if apple would just have an option to pay for a perm unlock. they would make tons of money off of this.

Now planetbeing should test Apples theory on the iPhone 4 Reception issue. If it can be replicated on another carrier then it is without a doubt a hardware issue.

Forget waiting on the 4.1 update. Let us unlock now and we can wait for the newest upgrade. 4.1 is not that big of a deal. Buy a case if you have issues and wait for the newest unlock release. Waiting on Apple for what???? I doubt the 4.1 release will fix a hardware issue that I bet is a manufacturing flaw that happens during production since the flaw only effects some phones. There are plenty of us that would rather wait 6 months to upgrade to 4.1 as long as we had access to our new iphone. Seems a waist to see it just sitting in a box on my desk. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RELEASE THE UNLOCK/JAILBREAK….Go Dev Team!

As far as what i know about GSM technologies, almost all phones have these problems of Network errors, which means when you hold your phone in such ways that can sure block your network signals, and Apple is not only one in this. Nokia, Sony, Samsung, LG, Blackberry all have faced and are facing this issue, as in most places you get weak network streangth which then blocks signals.

This seems to be a created hype from Apple itself if i am not wrong as for the 1st they released iPhone 4 was stollen or being misplaced in California, which clearely i found out on a Day one of it's launch in San Francisco at Apple store at Stocktone, there was a long Q waiting for iPhone 4, most of them got in line late night, i got there at 08.00am and got my number at 15.15pm.. At the time on a day one i was in line, Guy very back at me he gave this issue that he read some news about Signal issues, wowww… Day one and was just few hours of it's official launch and got the NEWS.. Thats too quick to judge.

Secondly even after these news were published Apple still have waitings for 3 weeks for the delivery of iPhone 4, wheteher in store or direct deliveries.. When you get a confirmation mail for pick up of your iPhone 4 at your registered store, i tried that many times, you have to stand again in a long Q to get that picked up.. So i believe that these are the things which are artificially created to get the hype of iPhone 4.

I am using my phone right now only as a non working device just for iPod, Camera, Web browsing blah blah blah.. But i wont get surpised if my phone shows some bad signals as i already have bad signals in my Office and even in my house..

Just think about me, on a day one of it's launch, waiting & standing in a long line in cold weather in San Francisco for more then Seven hours, getting your phone for full price, and everyday just looking at your phone and getting satisfied self “hey you know you are going to get unlocked soon” bites every moment.. Haha this is what it feels like.. Just using it's basic features at the moment and nothing more..
