PlayBox HD Alternative The Movie DB Gets Removed From App Store But You Can Still Download It On Both iOS & Android

If you are familiar with PlayBox HD or PB Online, then you are likely the type of individual who is going to want to familiarize themselves with the brand new The Movie DB application that recently arrived for iOS and Android devices.

This particular application is definitely going to be hugely popular amongst those individuals who love nothing more than being glued to their screens consuming glorious movie and TV content.

Let’s be honest here – movies and TV shows are pretty much universally enjoyed, regardless of culture, race, or language spoken, which means that this app is likely going to follow in the footsteps of PlayBox HD, CinemaBox, and others of that ilk, in the fact that it’s going to be massively popular with smartphone and tablet owners, but as was expected, Apple didn’t take long to remove it from the App Store due to its streaming capabilities after it initially sneaked passed App Store’s review. iOS users can, however, still download it as a web app directly from the official website at themoviedb.net/download. No sideloading or jailbreak is required to run the app. Android users can of course get it as well.

Note that, when launched for the first time on iOS, the app will ask you to provide Apple ID credentials. You needn’t – and shouldn’t – provide your own. Below the download link on the aforementioned page, you will find the Apple ID credentials you are meant to use.

From a functionality perspective, a lot of iPhone, iPad, or Android device owners are going to really love the fact that this app gives them the immediate ability to stream movies and TV shows from what appears to be a list of torrents gathered from all over the web.

However, the app definitely does more than that in the fact that it offers immediate visibility of up-to-date content and even acts as a media tracker that allows users to add movies and TV shows to their watchlist in order to watch them at a later date.
