iPad mini And iPhone 5 Coming To China In December, Confirms Apple

Ben Reid·December 1, 2012
China may be the nucleus of Apple's very being in terms of manufacturing, but in terms of product releases, still generally has to wait until the United States, Europe, and much of the world has gotten its fill before seeing the likes of the iPhone and iPad. Today, the Cupertino company has released an official press statement, detailing the release of the iPhone 5 and iPad mini to the increasingly lucrative Chinese market, set to arrive in December.

Unlocked iPhone 5 Now Available At Apple Stores In The U.S.

Paul Morris·November 30, 2012
The iPhone 5 has been available to the general public for just over seventy days, and although we have already seen some rough estimates of sales and user adoption, we should accept the fact that it has taken Apple over two months to get stock levels into a position to keep up with demand. In the United Kingdom, and in other several parts of Europe, we sometimes take it for granted that we can just walk into an Apple Store or visit the website and purchase an entirely SIM-free iPhone with no minimum contract, which is a luxury now afforded to American consumers across the pond directly from an Apple Store.

Remote App For iOS Updated To v3, Features A Revamped UI For iPad, Up Next And More

Paul Morris·November 30, 2012
Apple is carving themselves a name recently as the company who delivers hardware and software to consumers in bunches rather than releasing things in dribs and drabs, which is something that has been evident with the recent iPhone and iPod releases as well as the two new iPads and new range of Macs. It should be common knowledge by now that the eagerly anticipated iTunes 11 has officially been released to the public and Apple have continued the multiple release trend by pushing up version 3.0 of their extremely popular Remote iOS app that lives on the App Store.

Chrome For iOS Updated With iOS 6 Passbook Support, Text Encoding And More

Ben Reid·November 29, 2012
Google has taken the world of Web browsers by storm in the past couple of years, with its Chrome offering quickly having become the utility of choice for surfers worldwide. The Android version has been solid from the get-go, and with the recent introduction of the iOS iteration, the Big G finally brought its famed browser to the iPhone and iPad. Despite Apple's restrictions on developers bringing their own engines to the iOS fold, the engine certainly isn't the end-all, be-all, and today's updates for Chrome on iOS today prove that point once more.

‘Real Boxing’ App Is As REAL As Boxing Gets On Your iOS Device

Ben Reid·November 29, 2012
Every now and then, a new title comes along that breaks boundaries, offering gamers something they've perhaps seen before, but not at such a polished level. Real Boxing from Vivid Games is one such title, and whether you're a big boxing fan, or just looking for an exciting, competitive, and challenging title, this game ticks all the boxes with aplomb.

The 14-Megapixel DSLR Camera Accessory For iPhone Gets Detailed, And It’s Not Cheap

Oliver Haslam·November 28, 2012
It was just a few short days ago that we told you about former Black Eyed Peas frontman and general music legend Will.i.am's maiden entry into the murky world of iPhone accessories. Dubbed i.am+ (rolls right off the tongue?) and available only via Selfridges in London, the range includes two varieties of the same case that promises to help iPhone photographers take better pictures. We've heard that before though, haven't we?

Ben Reid·November 27, 2012
Apple's iPhone always manages to sell in high numbers when the holiday season approaches, and history has repeated itself once again this year. Thanks to strong sales of the brand new iPhone 5, iOS has peaked at the top of the smartphone market share in the United States, according to data collated by research outfit Kantar Worldpanel Comtech.

Webr 2.0 Brings Additional Themes And Other Powerful Features, Lets You Easily Create Websites In Minutes Using iPhone

Paul Morris·November 25, 2012
It was only a matter of months ago that we brought the simple but extremely functional Webr app to our readers attention and it seems that the software has managed to craft itself a nice little niche on the App Store and has proved extremely popular with users who want to create themselves a personal home on the internet without all of the technical hassle that comes associated with web development. While Webr seems to have gone from strength to strength in the background without causing much fuss or grabbing too many headlines, version 2.0 of the app was recently released, brining lots of new features to the table.

This App For iPhone Helps You Easily Maintain Control Of Your Finances

Ben Reid·November 25, 2012
Black Friday's name stems from the opportunity businesses have to turn a profit, or remain in the black, by making huge sales to customers enticed by the savings on offer. That's all very well for the companies, but on a personal level, it's important we too keep our heads above water, and as we collectively drag ourselves from the financial meltdown of a few years ago, we should take all the help we can get in maintaining financial stability. To mark Black Friday Weekend, we've had a little hunt through some of the best money apps available for iOS, and for all-round performance and ease-of-use, Budget with Back in Black has emerged as one of our favorites.
