Apple To Reportedly Hold Two Separate Events For New iPhone And iPad Mini, Makes Sense

Ben Reid·August 24, 2012
Earlier this week, reliable source John Gruber suggested Apple would likely hold two separate media events for its upcoming product range, and Jim Dalrymple - famous for his "yep" responses to Apple rumors - appears to agree with Gruber's sentiments.

Facebook 5.0 For iPhone And iPad Released, Brings Serious Speed Improvements And Ditches HTML5 For Good!

Paul Morris·August 23, 2012
Considering Facebook is the largest social network in the world with over 900 million registered members, you could be forgiven for thinking they would place significant emphasis on, and pump huge resources into ensuring the mobile experience of their users was second to none. Unfortunately, any Facebook user who has accessed their account through the iPhone or iPad app will know that the experience is less than satisfactory, something that we know occurs due to the app being built for rollout across multiple platforms.

As is typically the case in the run-up to a new Apple product, much media attention has focused on what the Cupertino company will, and won't be including with the next-generation iPhone, dubbed unofficially as the iPhone 5.

MissionBoard For iOS Is A Near Perfect Card-Style App Switcher Replacement For iPhone And iPad

Paul Morris·August 23, 2012
As powerful as Apple's iOS is, some users will always disagree with the way certain things are implemented throughout the system, meaning there will always be a place for jailbreaking in the iDevice ownership world. One of the much discussed areas of concern in iOS is the way in which users can see what is running in the background and invoke apps from the multitasking part of the OS, something that Apple added as one of the major new features of iOS 4.

Apple Requesting Official Hardware Resellers To Put Aside Additional Display Space For iPad Before September 12

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
Although we are yet to hear of any official confirmation from Apple about the rumored September 12th press event, everything which we are hearing from various sources seems to suggest that we might be in for a little more than we had initially bargained for when the day eventually comes around. Previous speculation had suggested that the media event is definitely going to be taking place on the aforementioned date, but would more than likely be to introduce the world to the next-generation iPhone and possibly announce the immediate availability of iOS 6 for supported older-generation devices.

iPad Mini Seeing Increased Production, 4 Million Plus Units To Be Ready By September

Awais Imran·August 21, 2012
Rumors and reports of a smaller, more portable iPad have been in the air since 2010, but their frequency has increased significantly this year thanks to the success of smaller, cheaper tablets like the Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7.

How To Free Up Space On iPhone, iPad By Removing Caches, Temporary And Junk Files Without Jailbreaking

Ben Reid·August 19, 2012
If you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch device, you'll be more than aware that storage space can often be at a premium. Apple makes up to $100 per size upgrade on the iDevice range, which means many opt for the model with the least space in order to save those precious few dollars. While many manage just fine with 8 or 16GB of real-estate for music, videos, ringtones and whatnot, it often becomes a bit of a squeeze, and quite a few end up having to delete files just to get by.

Official WWE App Wrestles Onto iOS And Android – Download Now!

Awais Imran·August 19, 2012
I used to be a big fan of professional wrestling back in the day. I used to spare fours hours a week, every week (no matter if I was having final exams) for SmackDown and RAW. That was until I realized how stupid the idea of men fighting each other in front of a large audience was. Why not fight elsewhere? Why create a fuss in front of the public? I still kept watching, though, because it was so gosh darn fun to see two muscly men beat the living life out of each other.

Ben Reid·August 18, 2012
There are plenty of new features purported to be arriving with the next iPhone device, and one of them is the smaller dock connector. Meanwhile, the smaller iPad (or larger iPod touch, depending on which way you look at things), is also said to be arriving shortly after the sixth Apple smartphone, and although details regarding that particular device are a little less vivid, it will undoubtedly house the smaller dock connector also.
