Apple’s Media Event To Be Held On March 21st Instead Of March 15th [Report]

Apple is rumored to he hosting a media event in March next month to announce its next wave of products. Previously, it was reported that this event will take place on March 15th, with announced products being available for purchase almost immediately on March 18th. Now however it seems like that rumored March 15th event will instead take place in the week of March 21st, with Monday, March 21st itself being the most likely date for the event.

While the iPhone and Apple Watch complement each other very well, it is also apparent that Apple wants its users to bank on the iPhone for more intensive tasks, and for the most part, that makes sense. However, note taking is one aspect where the company could make some changes. One developer has decided to not wait around for that day and has released a dedicated app that helps you manually take down short notes on Apple Watch using an on-screen keyboard of sorts - without needing to use voice dictation or have your iPhone in near vicinity.

Apple's anticipated March media event is expected to see the introduction of a number of new products. In addition to the first official unveiling of the mysterious iPhone 5se, Apple is also expected to introduce the iPad Air 3 along with a potential set of new Apple Watch band options. Now, in a research note to investors, Apple analyst Gene Munster is speculating that Apple will also take the opportunity to introduce an incremental improvement to its smartwatch in the form of an Apple Watch "S" upgrade.
