Steam, PS4, Xbox One, Switch Holding Sale For The Game Awards 2019 Nominees

Starting today, in celebration of The Game Awards 2019, major platforms are holding a sale on the event’s nominees, past honorees, and a smattering of other games.

These include Steam and Epic Games Store on PC as well as the official online storefronts for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

You may want to hurry up and lock in those purchases, though, because these discounts won’t last long. The Steam sale, for example, will last only till the end of December 13. Also tied to the sale on Steam is a special Game Festival event that will allow you to download and play “more than a dozen first-look game demos” for two days, ending on December 14.

Discounts vary across each store, with Steam featuring the biggest discounts at up to 90%.

  • Steam (store.steampowered.com) – Up to 90% off
  • Epic Games Store (epicgames.com) – Up to 75% off
  • PlayStation 4 (store.playstation.com) – Up to 50% off
  • Xbox One (xbox.com) – Up to 70% off
  • Nintendo Game Store (nintendo.com) – Up to 50% off

If you’re looking to play through a few of the year’s best games during the upcoming holidays, now would be a good time to fetch your credit card, with the likes of Control, Resident Evil 2, The Outer Worlds, Borderlands 3, Devil May Cry 5, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and GRIS having been afforded decent discounts on all stores. Of course, not all nominated titles are available through any one store. If your platform of choice is PC, for instance, you may have to divide your purchases between Steam and the Epic Games Store.
