In a surprise move today, Apple has actually approved the fastest (arguably) mobile web browser - Opera Mini for the iPhone platform. It will be available in the App Store for free in under 24 hours from now. This is what the CEO of Opera said in an official press release today.
We have finally got our hands on the iPad the other day. The experience so far has been nothing short of spectacular. I won't go as far as saying that iPad has replaced my netbook or desktop PC for that matter. But it has certainly created a new category among all the portable gadgets I own, and I now use it for some light gaming, web browsing, Youtubing and social networking (facebook app for iPhone on iPad sucks though) on the go.

Those who might’ve tried the beta version of iPhone OS 4 might’ve noticed that Safari’s search doesn’t have the Google branded button anymore. The button for the search simply reads “Search” now instead of “Google”, even though the search engine (Google) remains the same.
A new team of hackers by the name “TheiPhoneDevTeam” have come up with a video, which shows iPhone 3.1.3 untethered jailbreak for all the iDevices which includes MC models of iPod touch and iPhone. Big news for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G users! After learning about iPhone OS 4 jailbreak news earlier today, some iPhone devs/hackers have now apparently managed to enable multitasking on the older iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, both of which were limited by Apple due to lower amount of RAM on these devices. This is what a recent tweet from an iPhone dev said.
The iPhone Dev-Team has managed to jailbreak iPhone OS 4 Beta. Musclenerd, a member of the infamous Dev-Team posted a video proof which showed off a VNC app running on a jailbroken iDevice in action. Video after the jump.
