It's really not been a great week for mobile security. We've had the giant mess that is the Carrier IQ debacle, where a company appears to have at least the ability to monitor just about anything to do with a smartphone, and now we have a new Android security flaw that could potentially be just as troublesome.
Any iPhone owner that is a heavy multitasker will no doubt admit that the way Apple's smartphone handles accessing and restoring apps that are running in the background is not really the best. Double-pressing that already overused Home button in order to open up the multitasking tray may work, but it isn't ideal, and we have gone through a few iPhones because of broken Home buttons.
Oh well, the calm didn't last long did it? We're just a couple of months since the iPhone 4S was released to an expectant public, and we are already beginning with the iPhone 5 rumors, and some of them are just plain crazy.
