Chronic Dev Team has just released Mac OS X version of GreenPois0n tool which like the Windows and Linux version can jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G / 3G and iPad on iOS 4.1 and iOS 3.2.2 respectively.
Scheduled for next week, Apple’s Back to the Mac event is set to unveil such things as OS X 10.7 (Lion?), iLife ‘11 and an all-new MacBook Air.
In countries where Apple doesn’t officially support iPhone 4, prices go as high as $1500 for a software-unlocked set. But that really is nothing compared to what British designer Stuart Hughes has managed to pull off.
Back in July, Apple officially announced that they would be delaying the white iPhone 4 to a non-specific date (sometime later in 2010, according to an email exchange) because they were turning out “to be more challenging to manufacture than [Apple] originally expected”.
MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team has teased a little video which shows off the upcoming PwnageTool in action. This new version of PwnageTool is based on Geohot’s Limera1n bootrom exploit which will allow us to restore custom cooked firmwares (without the upgraded 05.14.04 / 2.10.4 basebands) on almost all the current iOS devices, including: iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (new bootrom), Apple TV, iPad and iPod touch 4G / 3G.
Mac version of Limera1n is now available for download. Even though the instructions for Mac are exactly the same as the one for Windows, I thought I would do the guide again for our Mac users who come here, searching for the Mac version of the instructions.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the world’s most popular video-sharing website - YouTube - is also among the most popular websites for searching audio. Music videos, lectures, cochlear illusions and the sort constitute a significant part of YouTube’s growing library.
While this is no where near as gigantic as a Verizon iPhone 5 deal would’ve been, it still is rather news-worthy: Apple’s smartphone-and-notebook-bridging gadget - the iPad - will be offered by Verizon Wireless and AT&T in the US starting 28th October.
HDR Photography option is an iPhone 4 exclusive feature in iOS 4.1. Previously we showed you how you can enable HDR photos on a jailbroken iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.1. Thanks to the recently released Limera1n and GreenPois0n iOS jailbreak tools, you can now enable the HDR option even on an jailbroken iPod touch 4G running iOS 4.1.
A new tweak is now available on Cydia which brings the ability to turn the icon of the stock “Clock” app into a fully live and working clock on iOS 4.1 devices! You can even customize the animation, or change the look of it if you have Winterboard installed from Cydia!
