The Samsung Galaxy S4 may not have been released yet, but already, the thriving modding community has begun extracting it of all its exclusives and treasures, including its beautiful array of HD wallpapers. The Korean company has, naturally, updated and improved its native personal assistant S Voice for the upcoming flagship, and already, a system dump leaked into the wild has given the opportunity for those on preexisting devices to try it out. The app has already been tested by SamMobile on the Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III and the Nexus 4, and is said to work "flawlessly" on each. Every year, Microsoft holds its BUILD conference, which aims to give developers an insight as to what the company has in store with regards to its major software products. While not necessarily limited to Windows, the Redmond company's OS is a significant talking point, and with speculation already in full force with regards to what changes Microsoft is looking to make to Windows moving forward, the software maker has announced that this year's BUILD conference will commence from June 26th this year. Following on from the earlier news that T-Mobile would finally be carrying the iPhone as of early next month, the carrier has also revealed that Samsung's Galaxy S4 would be available in early May. CEO John Legere stated at the company's "UnCarrier" conference that the device will arrive "about May 1st," which means, providing no major hitches arise, consumers will only have to wait around five weeks to get their hands on Samsung's latest and greatest smartphone effort.
After what has seemed like an eternity in waiting, T-Mobile will finally begin carrying the iPhone 5 from April 12th. The carrier, which currently sits behind AT&T, Verizon and Sprint in the pecking order in the United States, will be the fourth major network to offer the Cupertino handset after the aforementioned, and as well as being compatible with T-Mobile's just-launched LTE network, there'll also be HD voice thrown into the mixer. The pricing structure is also rather impressive, with a 16GB iPhone 5 costing $99 up-front, followed by 24 monthly installments of $20.
We're used to seeing new, major smartphone releases arriving more frequently than mobile carriers will allow us to upgrade, but where Samsung is concerned, the company has two flagship-level handset outlets. Both the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note are immensely popular among hordes of Android fans, and with the South Korean vendor releasing them at different points during any given year, one only has to wait a couple of months to see a brand new Galaxy handset. With the Galaxy S4 now announced pending release next month, attentions will naturally turn to the larger, so-called "phablet" Galaxy Note III, and according to a report from Korean publication Asiae.co.kr, the device will pack an "unbreakable" display.
It’s pretty fair to say that the average iOS device user has a significant number of third-party apps installed on their device. Regardless of whether it's an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad; the chances are that the user has browsed through the App Store, found the apps that interest them and gone through the installation process multiple times. Not only does installing different apps mean enhanced functionality on the device, but it also means that sooner or later there will be a large amount of updates for those apps that filter through from the App Store. We should all know from experience that those little App Store badges can become quite annoying if the update isn't installed right away.

Chevrolet has, along with Honda, outlined its intention to integrate Apple's Siri technology into production cars, in a system known as "Eyes Free". Handsfree technology, while useful in helping prevent drivers from becoming distracted whilst behind the wheel, isn't without flaw; and by implementing this new, Siri-based system, major car manufacturers hope to make our roads even safer moving forward. The initial reports of Chevrolet's Siri integration, which first came to our attentions at the end of last November, we got a fairly good insight of how the system would work. Now, following last month's announcement that the 2013 Chevy Sonic and Spark would be among the first to feature Eyes Free, the company has just aired an advertisement showcasing the technology.
Microsoft has been working hard to attract developers to create new and exciting apps for the Windows Store, but what better way to set a decent example than to bring significant improvements to some of its own apps? That's exactly what the Redmond company has decided to do, and within the next day, users can expect to see some pretty significant changes to the Mail, Calendar and People apps within Windows 8. iOS 7 is largely expected to make an appearance at this year's WWDC, and under the influence of Jony Ive, some are expecting more radical changes than previously seen under the guidance of Scott Forstall. Ive doesn't strike us as somebody who finds it difficult to dream up new designs, but if he and his team were ever stuck, they could always turn to the multitude of designs offered by Apple fans across the world. We've seen many an iOS 7 concept during the past six months, but this demonstration of a revamped "App Switcher" concept by one Jesse Head has left us relatively awestruck.
