Ben Reid·March 28, 2013
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is not too far away; yet while many of us are moderately excited by the prospect of its release, it stands to reason that the guys over at SamMobile would perhaps be a little more stoked than most. The Samsung-focused blog has already spent the past couple of days extracting various parts of a Galaxy S4 ROM dump and distributing them about the Web, and having finished picking at the carcass, has now released a bunch of animated demo clips outlining some of the new features on offer with the forthcoming flagship.

Gameloft will soon be releasing an adaptation of Marvel's Iron Man 3 for iOS and Android, and in anticipation of the release, the developer has come through with a short, cinematic teaser trailer. It's not long before the Iron Man 3 hits cinemas, and with the box office puppeteers now seeing significant value in bringing supplementary mobile titles out alongside the blockbusters, Gameloft has been tasked with creating the title for what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest movie releases of 2013.

Samsung Introduces Its Own Copycat Entertainment Portal To Take On iTunes And Google Play

Ben Reid·March 28, 2013
With both Google and Apple finding great success with their respective online entertainment stores, Samsung has decided the time is right to come through with its very own, very similar offering. The iTunes App Store and more recently, Google Play, currently dominate the market, but if sources in Korea are to be believed, the nation’s largest electronics manufacturer is planning a new “Tizen” ecosystem. What’s more, the company has just launched a supplementary content portal, and wants the top 100 iPhone and Android games ready and available on it by June.

Carla Theme For iPhone And iPad Brings Meticulous Detail To Every Aspect Of iOS [GIVEAWAY]

Paul Morris·March 28, 2013
We've made it our mission to get intricate with most of the powerful and interesting tweaks that land on Cydia. Some of them may not be to our tastes, and some of them may not offer the functionality that we would necessarily make use of, but each user is different and the old saying of "one man's trash is another man's treasure" definitely springs to mind when talking about jailbreak tweaks. We have also made it our mission to stay away from jailbreak orientated themes unless they are truly exceptional and make Apple's iOS a genuinely more attractive and elegant place to be. I guess that must mean that the Carla theme for jailbroken iOS devices is one of those stand out creations that makes the grade.

In an attempt to re-ignite buzz surrounding the title, Rockstar has come through with yet another batch of screenshots, and believe you me, they're as awe-inspiring a batch as we've seen so far.

Apple TV Set To Feature 4K Ultra HD Resolution, Motion And Voice Controls, Says New Report

Ben Reid·March 27, 2013
The talk of Apple releasing its own television set never seems to cease, and according to a report from the famously hit-and-miss Digitimes, the Cupertino may be plotting an Ultra High-Definition, 4K resolution effort. The report has cited unidentified supply chain sources in stating that Apple is planning a TV set boasting a resolution of 3840 x 2160 - a mighty step-up from the current, 1080p HD displays in the majority of households. It will be the company's first connected TV set, and the Digitimes report also goes on to suggest that voice and motion control will be supported.

This Android App Offers A Simple And Light, Cloud-Based Note-Taking Solution

Ben Reid·March 27, 2013
The power of The Cloud has brought a whole new dimension to how we go about running our everyday digital errands. As far as note-taking is concerned, Evernote is seen as the go-to option, as it provides a wealth of features while also offering seamless, automatic syncing to any and all of your devices. If you're looking to break away from convention, and instead try another app for the jotting and syncing of notes, you may want to give Notz for Android a try. It's incredibly small (less than 600kB), works nicely with Dropbox, and has a pretty interface. Oh, and it's absolutely free of charge.

iKit NuCharge Battery Cover For iPhone 5 Makes Sure Your Smartphone Keeps On Ticking [Review]

Ben Reid·March 27, 2013
One of the ongoing battles faced by smartphone and tablet vendors, particularly when attempting to bump the specs up a generation, is maintaining a relatively strong battery life. Squeezing better hardware into the same (or an even smaller) package places an incredible amount of strain on the juice-o-meter, and while the major companies have managed relatively well thus far, there are always those occasions where we wish the battery retention was just a little bit greater. There are plenty of remedial peripherals currently on the market, particularly for Apple's flagship iPhone 5, and in our quest to bring you as many of the latest and greatest gadgets and accessories, we'll today be checking out the NuCharge battery pack and case designed by London-based iKit.
