Oliver Haslam·January 27, 2014
With the 30th anniversary of the Mac, everyone's reminiscing about their history with the computer that arguably put Apple on the map. How To Make Your iOS 7 Device Perform A Certain Action When You Put It Face Down

Ben Reid·January 26, 2014
Thanks to the iPhone's various sensors, a lot can be achieved with very little or no input from the user. When we put the device to our face, for example, the proximity sensor beside the receiver automatically switches the device's display off, and on other occasions, such as gaming, the accelerometer does a lot of the hard work for us. But while these are all very useful, it's fair to say that Apple isn't really maximizing the hardware within but thanks to the wonders of a jailbreak - specifically a new, feature-rich tweak called FaceOff 7 - we can begin to explore things in a little more depth. Discover more of this marvelous tweak after the break!

How To Add An Extra Row Of Number Keys To iOS 7 Keyboard

Ben Reid·January 26, 2014
I'll make no bones about it: the iOS keyboard is, for me, an almighty pain in the rear. It seems to predate the rest of the operating system, and while iOS 7 is very advanced compared with the old days of iPhone OS, the keyboard is, by and large, unchanged. But thanks to the world of jailbreaking, those who like to type with some kind of fluidity can find some respite, and while there's not really anything like SwiftKey, there are a few tweaks, like a new entry over at the BigBoss repo called exKey, that promise to enhance the iOS keyboard feature.

How To Add An App Launcher On iOS 7 Lock Screen

Ben Reid·January 25, 2014
The jailbreak tweaks are arriving thick and fast, particularly those of the lock screen variety. We've already featured several tweaks offering iOS users different ways to modify the lock screen, and AppBox by developer Jacob Caraballo is easily the most powerful we've seen hitherto. Not only does it allow you to jump straight into any app without unlocking your device, but by enabling the App View feature and holding icons of certain apps, you can also activate their plugins.

Ben Reid·January 25, 2014
A short while ago, we reported on the news that today marks the 30th birthday of the Mac, and in celebration of this momentous occasion, Apple pieced together a short video clip. But considering how integral the Mac has become not only to Apple's product range, but also to its identity as a company, there was always going to be more to today than just a video clip. Three of Apple's head honchos, including the Cupertino's CEO Tim Cook, have sat down for an interview for ABC News, and although we've only a short preview of the full-length piece set to air tonight, it'll surely be a must-watch for any ardent Apple fan.

Motorola Migrate Lets You Transfer Your Content From iPhone To Android [VIDEO]

Aatif·January 25, 2014
One of the prime difficulties with moving to a new phone or upgrading your existing device is all the valuable data that you leave behind in the old one. Thankfully, we’ve come such a long way in the world of smartphones that it isn’t that much of an issue any more, as third party solutions allow you to achieve that with relative ease, even though it’s a hassle. Things become really interesting (and difficult), however, when you decide to move between platforms, especially from iOS to Android.
