Paul Morris·August 19, 2015
The existence of a large 'iPad Pro' has been discussed for quite some time now. It's widely accepted that Apple is planning on adding to its existing iPad lineup by building and unveiling a larger 'Pro' model, that would be predominantly aimed at business consumers and educational institutes. We accept that the larger tablet is real, more so after the latest discovery of an iPad identifier in data logs, but when is it coming? Well, according to a new prediction by prolific predictor Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, the Pro version of Apple's iPad will definitely enter into mass production before October ends.

Parallels Desktop 11 Brings Cortana To Mac, Adds Windows 10 And OS X El Capitan Support

Paul Morris·August 19, 2015

That said, the company's latest iteration of its virtual machine software, Parallels Desktop 11, is now officially available for Mac OS X users.

MIT Researchers Accidentally Discover A Way To Quadruple Li-ion Battery Lifespan

Oliver Haslam·August 19, 2015
As we go about our lives, we use all kinds of technology that relies on batteries, whether that be a smartphone, a tablet or perhaps a notebook computer. As we use these devices, we recharge them before using them again. This process can happen thousands of times during a device's lifetime, especially if it's something that we charge each day, like a smartphone or a smartwatch. That's all well and good, but as anyone with an old notebook computer will tell you, batteries eventually start to see their overall capacity decrease as the battery itself begins to decay. That's not good for battery life.

Drop Test: Galaxy Note 5 Fares Better Than Galaxy S6, Worse Than iPhone 6 [Video]

Paul Morris·August 18, 2015
Samsung has been basking in acclamation over the last few days for the refreshed design that adorns its Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ handsets that were introduced last week. The beautiful, sleek visuals that are achieved with the perfectly engineered use of metal and glass is an undeniable improvement on the plastic phones that we have become accustomed to from Samsung. But how does this new build quality measure up against devices from competing manufacturers when dropped onto tiles and concrete blocks?
