Now, in an effort to get its Galaxy smartphones into the hands of as many users as possible - in particular owners of Apple's iPhone - Samsung has announced its "Ultimate Test Drive" program where consumers can test drive a Galaxy smartphone for just $1.

Ever since the movie Minority Report arrived, people have been waiting for computers to progress to the point where we can wave our arms around to control on-screen interfaces. Despite a few false dawns, we haven't quite got to that point yet, and while the likes of Microsoft's Kinect have proven that the technology is there, things haven't quite taken off like some may have expected. Instead, touch-based interfaces like those on smartphones and tablets have become the norm.

Get A Powerful Free Dual Pane Finder Alternative On Mac OS X With Commander One

Paul Morris·August 20, 2015
The native Finder application is undeniably one of the most useful and widely used app which ships with Apple's OS X platform. Finder provides access to almost anything, allowing files, folders and connected drives to be viewed and interacted with relative ease. With that said, given how useful Finder is, it's also extremely infuriating with its Apple imposed limitation, which given the maturity of the app, seems to suggest complacency within Apple. For those Mac lovers out there who want something a little more powerful, allow us to introduce you to Commander One.
