iPhone 14 Pro Models Are Likely To Cost $100 More Than iPhone 13 Pro

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models are expected to cost around $100 more than their iPhone 13 counterparts.

That’s according to a new research note by Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives.

The note, reported by PED, claims that the price will increase by around $100, but only for the Pro and Pro Max variants. Those buying the base models will not see a price bump.

While the base iPhone will stay at the same price we believe a $100 price increase on the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max is likely in store given component price increases as well as added functionality on this new release.

Apple is expected to announce its new iPhones at an event on September 7. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will come with improved A16 processors compared to the A15 Bionic used on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max. The Pro models are also expected to benefit from an upgraded 48-megapixel camera.

Perhaps the most obvious improvement over the standard models will be the inclusion of a new display capable of powering an always-on display.

If previous years are any indication, Apple looks set to make the new iPhones available for pre-order on September 9, with the devices going on sale on September 16.
