iOS 16 Final OTA Profile File Download And IPSW Links Released

The iOS 16 final OTA profile file download and IPSW links are now available for everyone who has a compatible iPhone on hand.

After a months-long beta program Apple is now ready to make iOS 16 available to the world.

Developers, as well as those on the public beta program, have been testing iOS 16 since June and Apple now believes that it is ready to make it available to everyone who wants to install it. And install it you should — this update includes some notable improvements including the ability to edit iMessages, unsend emails, and more.

Beyond that, Apple’s iOS 16 also redesigns the Lock Screen, putting widgets there for the first time. Users can also now take more control over how their Lock Screen appears, including editing the text font and color.

The easiest and quickest way to download the iOS 16 update is to use the over-the-air mechanism on your iPhone.

Just head to Settings > General > Software Update to get the ball rolling and you’ll see the iOS 16 update ready to go. It’s free, and with the new features it brings, it’s a no-brainer to install.

Those who prefer to install the update manually can now download the IPSW files from Apple’s servers and go that route, too. Make sure to download the correct file for your particular iPhone and then install it using iTunes on a Windows PC or Finder on a Mac.
