iOS 16 Beta 4 Release Notes, Changes And Bugs According To Apple

Here are iOS 16 beta 4 and iPadOS 16 beta 4 release notes, changes, and bugs according to Apple for iPhone and iPad users.

Apple has now made the fourth iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 betas available for people to download and that means that we have a raft of new fixes and improvements that we can enjoy.

It also means that there are new bugs that have also been implemented, and that’s less than ideal. If you need to know exactly what’s going down, you need to check out the release notes that are now available to registered developers.

The iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 updates are expected to be made available to the public this fall and that means that we can expect a few more betas to be released before that happens. All eyes are on Apple to see how things change through the beta process, but the early releases have been surprisingly stable.

The new updates will bring with them support for a new Lockdown Mode on iOS, improved multitasking with Stage Manager in iPadOS, and big changes to the iPhone Lock Screen with widgets and new customization options.

If you’re planning on install the developer or public betas please do keep in mind that there are likely to be issues — despite Apple’s improvements, these remain beta updates and are not ready to be installed on your main devices. Keep that in mind before installing.
