iOS 13.3 Hints At Powerbeats4 With “Hey Siri” Support Coming Soon

The newly released iOS 13.3 appears to suggest that Apple is working on a new version of the Powerbeats earbuds that support Hey Siri. The feature allows users to invoke Siri wirelessly without having to press any buttons first.

Strings have been spotted in iOS 13.3 that Powerbeats4 will include the Hey Siri feature, likely using the H1 chip that Apple uses in its AirPods.

That would also likely mean that the new earbuds would support Announce with Siri, too. That feature enables Siri to read incoming messages withoutany input from the user whatsoever.

Current Powerbeats3 earbuds sell for around $200, with Powerbeats Pro and AirPods Pro coming in at around $250. Apple also sells the AirPods for around $200 depending on whether you require the Wireless Charging Case or not.

Apple currently sells the truly wireless Powerbeats Pro, which also offer “Hey Siri” support. The Powerbeats4 will likely be a lower-end option for customers and come as a followup to the Powerbeats3 wireless in-ear headphones, which are still sold by Apple.

There is no indication as to when the new Powerbeats4 will be announced or go on sale, but if it was going to be before the holidays it would likely have happened by now.

Apple is expected to sell huge quantities of AirPods and AirPods Pro in 2020. By adding similar features to its Beats brand those too could sell gangbusters. Especially given the additional color options at hand.
