Amazon is currently selling the Anker PowerLine II Lightning cable for just $6.79. Normally this would sell for anything up to $13, so you’re saving plenty right here.

The color on offer is the white version, so while you can’t choose a red cable at this price we’d suggest that being able to do that isn’t worth paying twice the price. But if you’d disagree, why not check out the blue and black colors, too?

It’s common knowledge that it’s almost impossible to have too many Lightning cables. Three in every room of your home and at least one on your person at all times – that’s the bare minimum. Otherwise, you’ll be left in the inevitable situation of needing to charge an iPhone or iPad and not having a cable handy. We know it. You know it. Most of us have fallen into that trap already. But no more. Not with Lightning cables costing so little.

Unlike most cables costing around $6, this one is MFi-certified which means it has Apple’s seal of approval. As a result, no iOS update is going to stop these cables from working. They’re just as good as Apple’s own cables and, arguably, they’re better. If you’ve had an Apple cable fray and break you’re going to love the fact that Anker checks these cables and makes sure they can withstand more than 12,000 bends each.

So what are you waiting for? Time to stock up on Lightning cables!
