Epic Games Asks Fortnite Mobile Players To Avoid iOS 13 Citing “Stability Concerns”

Apple is currently testing iOS 13 with developers and those on the public beta program, which means there are a lot of people taking it for a spin. That means that there are bound to be apps and games that just don’t work correctly and Fortnite is one of them. In fact, Epic Games is telling people not to try iOS 13 just yet.

The announcement came via the Fortnite twitter account. Apparently, there are some “stability concerns” to be had with the current beta releases, leading to the suggestion that players should not update to the iOS 13 beta “at this time.”

It’s to be expected that problems like this would arise during the testing phase. Apple is changing things under the iOS 13 hood and that means some apps and games will inevitably need to undergo some work in order to make them behave properly. That’s why iOS 13 is in beta in the first place – to let developers get all of their ducks in a row ahead of the big launch day.

If you installed iOS 13 betas and have experienced issues with Fortnite, you’re clearly not alone. You should, however, have been expecting to experience some issues and unfortunately, those expectations came true.

Whether Fortnite will be updated to fix these problems, or if a future iOS 13 beta will do it instead remains to be seen. No matter how it happens, rest assured, a fix of some sort will arrive in due course. This is Fortnite, after all.
