iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Released In Beta, Here’s What You Need To Know
You can now download yalu102 iOS 10.2 jailbreak IPA file for a semi-untethered jailbreak on a compatible device. This jailbreak is created by Luca Todesco and Marco Grassi, with compatibility for some devices running iOS 10.2 for the very first time.
The excitement of being able to download a jailbreak with iOS 10.2 compatibility is probably taking over your senses right now, but there are a few things to consider before you go letting yourself get overwhelmed and carried away.
First of all, like all versions of Yalu prior to this one, this yalu102 jailbreak solution is very much in beta, which means it could be buggy and not everything will work on it just yet.
Also, as with previous versions of Yalu, there’s no support for 32-bit devices, and 64-bit device support present at this point in time is limited to just iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and iPad Pro, with support for other non-iPhone 7 64-bit devices hopefully coming in a future update.
Since yalu102’s exploit for iOS 10.2 doesn’t work on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, those with Apple’s latest devices will have to stick to Mach_Portal + Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak until yalu102 gains support for iOS 10.1.1 on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
The good news is that if your device is supported, and you do get that all important liberation that you seek, there is also support baked in for Cydia and Cydia Substrate, meaning that you should be able to get tweaks and packages downloaded and functioning with minimal fuss. Of course this relies on the developer of said tweak/package actually providing support for iOS 10 and beyond.
