How To Install Phantom Lite For Snapchat On iOS 10 Without Jailbreak

Here’s how to download and install Phantom Lite IPA for Snapchat on iOS 10. No jailbreak is required to install this and have it fully working.

Snapchat users with a history of jailbreaking will likely be more than au fait with Phantom Lite and the type of functionality that it brought when downloaded and installed as a jailbreak tweak. Previously only available via Cydia, the package is now available as an IPA download meaning that it can be directly sideloaded onto a non-jailbroken iOS 10 device with little fuss.

From a feature perspective, Phantom Lite brings pretty much everything that users would likely want from a Snapchat experience that was truly open. Those who take the opportunity to sideload this app will be able to keep received Snaps in the feed activity as well as mark them as being read on their own timescales rather than allowing the sender to instantly know that the Snap has been seen.

There’s also some additional lip service paid to the Stories section with the ability to either hide those Live Stories and Discover elements altogether, or actually go into stealth mode where Stories are concerned.

Stories and all received media can be instantly downloaded and saved to the Camera Roll on the device, and there is also an integrated image crop feature to allow photos to be uploaded and sent as Snaps directly from the device’s Camera Roll rather than having to capture an image or video there and then. Definitely a wonderful and worthwhile addition for Snapchat users, and great to see that it’s now available without the need to be jailbroken.
